Bill Gate donated $4 billion 600 million worth of Microsoft stock
The world’s richest man, Bill Gate donated the equivalent of their personal wealth 5% of the shares of the Microsoft Corp, which is the largest since 2000 June 6th Gates donated donated 64 million shares of Microsoft stock, worth $4 billion 600 million, this year is the world’s largest donation.

Gates and Warren Buffett in 2010 launched the “donation pledge” initiative. Now, 168 other billionaires have joined the initiative, promising to donate most of their personal wealth to charity.

If Gates had been holding these shares, it would be worth about $50 billion now. Donations in June accounted for 38% of Microsoft’s total. After a series of shares sold, Gates’s share of Microsoft has fallen from 24% in 1996 to 1.3% today.
And even if Bill Gate donated a lot of wealth, he is still net assets of $86 billion 100 million, ranking the world’s richest man. However, Gates’s personal wealth slipped again, so Amazon Co CEO Jeff Bezos (Jeff Bezos) is a step closer to the world’s richest man. Since January 1st this year, Bezos’s wealth has increased by 30%, and last month briefly surpassed Gates to become the world’s richest man.
