The Chinese are watching American businesses disable Kabasiji antivirus software

FBI warned the private sector to stop using Russian security company Kabasiji’s security software, saying it poses a serious threat to national security and that U.S. companies should remove Kabasiji from their systems as soon as possible. FBI has given priority to the energy sector, as well as to companies that use industrial control systems and SCADA systems. Bloomberg business week previously said that Kaba Keith and Russian intelligence agencies have more closely related cooperation than it claimed.
Senior U.S. government officials said the FBI’s goal was to get U.S. companies to remove Kabasiji from their computer systems as soon as possible, or to avoid using them in new products and other efforts.
